Hey there! I’m Sarah, a children’s book author and illustrator who’s obsessed with exploring our national parks. Growing up, I spent countless days hiking, camping, and kayaking through some of the most incredible places in the U.S., and it shaped who I am today. I’ve always felt this deep love for nature, and a few years back, I made it my goal to pass that love along to the next generation.

It was actually during a New Year’s trip to Yellowstone that I decided to turn this dream into a reality. As I watched the park’s beauty in the winter snow, I knew I wanted to do something meaningful to help protect these places—and what better way than through stories? My hope is that my books not only spark a sense of adventure but also inspire kids to learn more about conservation and caring for the earth.

Whether it’s a kid’s first hike or their first time hearing about national parks, I want these stories to be a way for families to explore together and build memories in the great outdoors. And who knows—maybe one day, I’ll run into a reader out there on a trail!
